L&M Keating Ltd. commenced their working relationship with Doonbeg Golf Course in 2000. In that year L&M Keating Ltd. were contracted to construct the main access road & services to the newly constructed golf course. The 2.5km “Floating Road” was built through marshland and was constructed over hardcore filled geotextile mattresses. Over the following three years L&M Keating Ltd. were employed by the Golf Club to complete all their development projects. These projects included construction of a new road to provide public access to Doughmore Beach, the extension of drainage culverts, the conversion to an administration building and temporary clubhouse of an existing farmhouse as well as construction of all associated car parks and services. |
