| MARY IMMACULATE COLLEGE INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS |
This project involved the extension of an existing car park within the confines of a live College Campus at Mary Immaculate College. The works included the demolitions of existing pre-fabricated buildings, site drainage and services, installation of kerbs, car park surfacing, paving, fencing and landscaping works, upto and around existing buildings. The project also included the construction of new limestone clad entrance portals over the main entrance to the college which remained in use for the duration of the works. The works were carried out in a live school environment. All works were carried out during periods when the Campus was in use by students, staff and the public. Full and comprehensive traffic and pedestrian management plans were developed and incorporated to ensure the safety of all Campus users and visitors. There were also extensive electrical works for the new car park including lighting, CCTV, car park barrier systems and the provision of all co-ordination required to connect into the college’s existing system. |
