Shannon Fuel Farm

This Project involved the Environmental Improvement Works to the Bulk Fuel Storage tanks at Shannon Airport, Co. Clare. The works included excavating and disposing of contaminated soil, the construction of large scale reinforced concrete structure and the alterations to existing fuel lines all within a live fuel facility.

LMK’s responsibilities included: Contract administration; project planning; setting-out; quality control; M&E coordination; Coordination of the design and installation of the automated fire fighting equipment. All works were carried out in a highly explosive (EX Rated) environment and a Special area of Conservation (SAC).
