| PWLLHELI HARBOUR DREDGING WORKS Gwynedd, Wales |
This project involved the maintenance dredging of approximately 22,000m³ of material from the marina basin and approach channel at Pwllheli Harbour and disposing of the arisings in a stilling lagoon. The disposal lagoon had been previously used, and the solidified material removed off in preparation of this dredging campaign. The workscope included monitoring the disposal lagoon, and environmental sampling and control of the return water. The work was carried out while the marina remained operational and involved management of the floating pipeline to minimise disruption to marina users. |
